My Childhood Poem

Posted by winston on April 6, 2012

From London where I was born,
To Miami where I was raised,
I started in F.I.D.S,
Soon I will have kids,

For now I add,
Soon I’ll have a ipad,
Scootering on the beach,
Drinking ice tea peach,
Watching the Heat is a pleasure,
In my seats I take leasure

My poem Seb 6B

Posted by sebh on April 6, 2012

Some children have electricity.
Some children have sticks.

Some children have publicity.
Some children can’t afford picks.

We have iPads and games.
They have farms to work on.

They get the blames.
We get the wins.

Should it all be the same?

Childhood Poem

Posted by sabrina on April 2, 2012

When you’re a child you should be happy,
You should be starting to sing in the sun.
From the time time you stop your nappy,
It really should be fabulous fun.

Except of course when you start school,
You hope you’ll find fantastic friends.
You should not act just like a fool,
Or you will find you’re friendship ends.

There will be times when you feel low,
There will be times when you feel bad.
Sometimes when life seems oh so slow,
Remember you have mum and dad.
