The international school of monaco is a great school. There are a lot of different Nationalities. Every day I wake up at 7:00. The school Registration is from 8:15 to 8:30. There are a lot of different activities at I.S.M for example sports 2 times a week.In I.S.M we learn at least 2 languages and those languages are English and French. In I.S.M we teach any instrument a child wants to learn and additionally there are class music lessons that involve the recorder, singing and other stuff. We also have personal social skills that teach us how to behave in the school and outside of school. We have library and while that happens we have a teacher that reads a book and then we get some time to pick books. The books are not just in French or in English they can be in different languages. We have assembly and during assembly we have children presenting things and we have certificates given out to children. Schools finishes at 3:30.

When we go to school everywhere there are people watching and listening to your every move and word. The parents cannot say anything and the kids can only say what the teachers teach them. The bad people are listening to the teacher because they cannot say what the parents want for example the war is bad. In the school we have pictures saying “I love war.” I feel that teaching that war is good in the school shows children to grow up thinking that this is the way of life and if this is the way the children will grow up to be exactly like the adults and the process will never stop. This makes people kill more and more and killing is bad.

A horse has eyes as dainty as a mink.
The grace is interrupted merely by a blink.
A horse is beauty.
A horse is a tree in a storm that never goes down.
A horse is a weathered rock that stays around.
A horse is ancient.
A horse waltzes like breeze over rivers.
She curvets and leaps like rain shivers.
A horse is a marionette.
A horse is determination, that never stops flowing.
A horse is fondness, that never stops growing.

This morning I went to school and when I arrived I saw this strange pig and I ignored it and we went in the art room and drew… And now we are in the music room and we sang…And now we are eating and I went back home.◊

Today was wonderful, we learnt about communism, did you know that communism is a fantastic thing. Today in art we drew red flags. When I went home, I told my parents all about communism I could tell that something was wrong when I saw how they reacted, then I showed them the red flag I drew they were even more astonished, I asked them what was wrong but they just stood there and said”nothing” in a shy way.

I have just finished sharpening my red pencils. I realised that at school today we have only used my red pencils. This morning the teacher told us to draw 5 red flags each to hang around the playground. He says that, when we sing the songs, they will help us to foucus our mind and to sing better. But I think we should use more colours because I know that there are many other beautiful and colorful flags. I know this because I have seen them in magazines and books that my parents have in the house. They hide them in the attic inside a big chest covered with old clothes and rags.Inside the chest there are somes old and heavy vases that sit on top of the magazines and books. My parents said that nobody has to know that we have these magazines and books. It is very dangerous and wrong to own magazines that talk about things against our country and the way the government expects us to live. There are some photos that show people smiling and laughing and on a boat ready to start their vacation in a place called Hawaii. But at school they say that there is no time to go on vacation and not worth to waste all your money like that. The money that we earn when we have a job has to go to the goverment. Because the goverment distributes the money to all of us equally… At least that’s what they tell us at school.

Today the art teacher told us to draw a red communist flag. He didn’t allow us to draw what we wanted but I still enjoyed to do it. When I came back home I showed my parents my beautiful painting. At first they didn’t seem to pleased but they still said they liked it but I knew from their face it wasn’t true…
